The Ghan
Board the Ghan in Adelaide or Darwin for the ultimate journey through the heart of Australia, where you will experience one of the most fascinating great train journeys of the world. Named after the Afghan Cameleers who once plied this route. The Ghan will take you from one edge of this continent to the other, from the rolling Adelaide Plains through the Red Centre to the famous frontier town of Alice Springs and the tropical splendour of Darwin and the Top End.
